Hello! My name is Jennifer and I am a portrait photographer based out of State College, PA.  I've been a trial and error “maker” all my life – from scrapbooks and crafts to cookies and quilting – I’ve tried it all, looking for an outlet to focus my creative energy.  As it turns out, I fell in love with photography when I discovered it was more than just a hobby of taking and sharing pictures - I learned I was ‘making’ pictures and helping bring them to life. Since then, I've focused all of my creative energy on photography.  It lights me up – the opportunity for me to see the beauty of the world in a whole new way while meeting amazing people and capturing beautiful family memories.

Although photography is my passion, family will always be my priority. My world revolves around my husband, Chad, and our two amazing kids, Addison and Cody.  My children won’t remember their first birthdays or when they played dress up in the playroom. Addie won’t remember the first time she learned to ride a bike and Cody won’t remember the first time he rode the tractor in the backyard. These un-posed, un-filtered life moments are memories that can easily drift away to the back of their minds. I want them to remember and appreciate how special childhood is, so it’s important that I embark on this gift I have been blessed with and provide them with something REAL – with tangible memories they can forever cherish. They are the reason I LOVE doing this and this mama is determined to give them those captured memories that they deserve.

I love photographing all stages and life moments of a family – from engagements to baby #5, and everything in between. I strive to capture real, authentic moments as well as aim to keep things fun and engaging. Getting your photos taken should not be a stressful process and my goal is to capture your life by making it a relaxing, loving and memory filled experience with your people!

My true loves:  Saturday mornings spent at home with my hubs and the kids are my favorite. They are rare, but so amazing when it actually happens. I live for campfires. I think kids should be outside as much as possible. I just found coffee at age 35. I live in black leggings- literally. I believe in supporting small business and have an unhealthy obsession with handmade small shops. Most nights I stay up too late and get up way too early. I’m a wannabe minimalist..
